TAG STRUCTURAL GROUP INC. is a design and engineering company that is made up of Engineers, architectural designers, and planners who are working together to merge the best of what each field has to offer to accelerate the speed of design.

We are experts in the field of structural engineering, we have considerable professional experience and are able to offer and provide professional services, not restricted purely to structural engineering, but embracing the full spectrum of structural, building engineering, retrofitting, architectural services and planning. We have provided professional services for all and have successfully designed and controlled many projects.

Professional Qualifications

TAG Structural Group is a licensed design consultant company which carries a Certificate of Authorization of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), Liability Insurance and has a Stamp of Practice through the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario and is a member in good standing. TAG is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario. 

Shahram Talebi, M.A.Sc., P.Eng (Principal)

Shahram Talebi, M.A.Sc., P.Eng is a member of the Professional Engineers Ontario since 2004 and recipient of Master Applied Science in Civil Engineering and was engaged within the building construction and structural engineering industry for decays. He has worked as director of TAG Structural Group since 2003 and was active in all spheres of structural engineering, Architectural Design and project managements. He was responsible for the design and construction of numerous projects.

Shahram Talebi has specialist knowledge and is experienced with the analysis, design and construction of buildings, structures and sub-structures.

Throughout over 30 years that he has worked he has no problems to provide the best solution to technical design and construction problems. His expertise and familiarity with application of principals and practices of structural engineering, architectural design, building science, building construction practices, fire safety, zoning by-laws and building code will certainly help in making the design process more efficient and quicker.

Also he has undertaken particular research into specific fields of structural engineering and post-graduate research and studies including:

  • Behavior of Ductile and Nominally Ductile Reinforced Concrete Moment Resistant Frames Designed for Different Levels of Ductility 
  • Seismic Retrofitting of Existing Reinforced Concrete Moment Resistant Frames Using FRP Wrapping
